I wasn't a quick convert to the camelbak coming from the 'old school' of 2 and 5 qt. canteens. But the camelbak system if used properly doesn't slosh around like a partially full canteen would and allows you to continually sip at the water in it rather than having to drink an entire canteen. This particular model can be worn by itself in garrison or attached to the Molle webbing on an IBA as needed. It keeps cool water relatively cool for long periods even in 120 degree heat.

I bought this camelbak right before a short deployment to Saudi Arabia. It preformed perfectly through the heat and sand. The bladder is very strong. It dealt with being squished in a Humvee and between ammo cans with out popping. Definitely worth the price.

This is a great camelbak for its price. didnt think it was gonna be durable out in the field, but proved me wrong my camelbak has been through a lot and still is in good shape. thumbs up for this buy.
